Zamfara United Appoints Abdullahi Adamu as New Coach Ahead of NNL Season

Gusau, Nigeria – Zamfara United has announced the appointment of Abdullahi Adamu as its new coach, ahead of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season. The young tactician was unveiled at the club’s headquarters in Gusau, where he signed the dotted lines and was presented to the media.

Adamu, who has previously worked with Katsina United and Wikki Tourists, is expected to bring his wealth of experience to Zamfara United. In his remarks, he expressed gratitude to the management of the club, the State Government, and stakeholders who made his appointment possible.

“I give all the glory and adoration to Almighty Allah for this day. I must also thank the State Government and the stakeholders who made this appointment possible,” Adamu said. “I really appreciate this gesture for finding me worthy of this appointment.”

Adamu assured the club’s media that he will do his best to prove himself and achieve notable success with the team. “Work has started, and we will leave no stone unturned so as to achieve the team’s target for the season,” he said.

Zamfara United is one of the traditional teams in Nigerian football, and Adamu is determined to restore the team’s lost glory. “I and the entire technical crew will do our best to ensure that the lost glory of the team is restored,” he concluded.

With Adamu at the helm, Zamfara United fans will be hoping for a successful season in the NNL. The team’s new coach is tasked with leading the team to the top tier of Nigerian football, the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
