Nelly Denies Stealing Chinwe’s 24-Karat Gold Jewelry in Big Brother Naija

Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant, Nelly, has been accused of stealing her colleague, Chinwe’s, 24-karat gold jewelry. However, Nelly has denied any involvement in the alleged theft, stating that she has no knowledge of how the jewelry ended up in her laundry bag.

According to reports, Chinwe accused Nelly of theft after her boyfriend, Sooj, found the jewelry purse in Nelly’s laundry bag and returned it to Chinwe on Tuesday night. Nelly, however, denied the allegations in a chat with Kassia on Wednesday morning, saying that she would have taken drastic action if she had indeed stolen the jewelry, but her boyfriend advised her to confront Chinwe privately.

Wetin reach to call me armed robber? Is she mad? Report to Biggie, there’s camera everywhere. They will show what happened.”

The cameras did not capture the confrontation between Nelly and Chinwe, only showing the two contestants wrapping up their conversation. Nelly seemed to be apologizing to Chinwe, but it was unclear whether she was apologizing for the alleged theft or another issue.

The two contestants exchanged words, with Nelly saying “We are cool, yeah? I’m sorry about it,” and Chinwe responding with “Yeah, it’s okay, it’s okay.”

The incident has sparked a lot of attention on social media, with fans of the show weighing in on the controversy. The hashtag #BBNaijaS9 has been trending on Twitter, with many users expressing their opinions on the matter.

It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold, but for now, Nelly has denied any involvement in the alleged theft and has called for the cameras to show what really happened.
