Nigeria Immigration Service: Warning Against Fake Recruitment Publications

Civil Defence Board Disowns Fake Recruitment Publication

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has warned the public against fake recruitment publications circulating online. In a statement, the board’s secretary, Ja’afaru Ahmed, urged the public to disregard online publications claiming to offer recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

Ahmed stated that the purported publications did not originate from the board and should be disregarded. He also warned the public to be cautious of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers.

Despite disowning the fake recruitment publication, the CDCFIB confirmed that the recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS) is ongoing. The board assured that shortlisted candidates will be notified of the next stage of the exercise via telephone messages and emails provided during the registration process.

It is essential to be aware of these fake recruitment activities and only rely on official channels for recruitment information. The CDCFIB’s clarification should help to prevent potential scams and misinformed individuals.

The recruitment process for the FFS is ongoing, and interested candidates are encouraged to apply through official channels. Stay informed and vigilant to avoid falling prey to fraudulent activities.

Note: For any recruitment-related information or concerns, please contact the official CDCFIB website or authorized recruitment channels. Do not rely on unverified sources or advertisements claiming to offer recruitment services.
