Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Celebrates 70th Birthday Amid Praise from Chieftains

As Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola marked a significant milestone – his 70th birthday – chieftains of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Mr Oluremi Omowaiye and Mr Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, took to congratulatory messages to hail his exceptional leadership and public service.

Omowaiye, a Director (Projects Implementation) at the Federal Housing Authority in Abuja, praised Oyetola’s leadership style, describing it as “anchored on humility, empathy, and inclusiveness.” He noted that during Oyetola’s administration as Osun State Governor, the minister paid strong attention to education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic empowerment, all aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.

“Your leadership style has earned you the respect and admiration of the people,” Omowaiye said in his message. “I pray that your life continues to be a beacon of hope, inspiration, and guidance to generations. May your experience, wisdom, and counsel remain a valuable resource for our state and nation.”

Oyintiloye, who served as Special Adviser, Civic Engagement, during Oyetola’s administration, described the minister as a visionary and respected leader who embodies simplicity and selfless service. He highlighted Oyetola’s developmental strides as Osun State Governor, including the massive revitalization and upgrading of 332 primary health facilities and infrastructure development through construction and rehabilitation of road networks across the state.

According to Oyintiloye, Oyetola’s commitment to human development and capacity building through empowerment programs for youths specifically designed to cater to the wellbeing of vulnerable groups advanced the pace of good governance for the masses.

As Oyetola celebrates this milestone birthday, his chieftains have joined in celebrating his life, wishing him many more years of good health, joy, and fulfillment.
