Social Media Critic Denies Involvement in Threats to Femi Falana’s Daughter
A drama has unfolded in the ongoing feud between social media critic, VeryDarkMan, and human rights advocate, Femi Falana. Falana recently alleged that his daughter’s life is being threatened, following his decision to take legal action against VeryDarkMan.
The drama began when VeryDarkMan leaked a voice call recording of crossdresser, Bobrisky, narrating how Falana’s son, singer Falz, contacted him during his six-month jail term. In the recording, Bobrisky claimed that Falz had requested help in obtaining a presidential pardon for N10 million through his father, Femi Falana. Falz and his father, Femi Falana, responded by threatening to sue VeryDarkMan for defamation.
However, in a recent interview, Falana alleged that his daughter’s life has been threatened, and that individuals who are “mentally derailed” have threatened to harm his family if he takes legal action. Falana stated, “The only disturbing area in this scenario is the threat to me and my daughter’s life. Some of these guys, who I believed were mentally derailed, have dared me that if I go to the court, they will burn down my office, and also send messages to one of my daughters that if your father goes to court, we shall kill you.”
In response, VeryDarkMan denied any involvement in the alleged threats, and expressed his willingness to cooperate with Falana to identify the individuals responsible. He stated, “I’m not aware or have knowledge of anyone sending threats Uncle Femi Falana and his family. Secondly, I will never be part of anybody sending threatening messages to anyone in this country. What I would like to say is that I am willing to cooperate and work with Femi Falana to fish out whoever sent the message to him. Please, I don’t associate myself with things like that.”
The development has sparked concerns that the sinister figures may be attempting to provoke Falana and manipulate the situation to their advantage. VeryDarkMan has distanced himself from any involvement in the alleged threats and is willing to join forces with Falana to unmask the individuals behind the threat.
