Ondo State Governorship Election: Seyi Law Predicts an Easy Win for Aiyedatiwa

Comedian and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Oluseyi Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, is sounding the alarm on the forthcoming Ondo State governorship election. In a series of tweets, Seyi Law has warned that the video circulating online, which shows a man with facial similarities to the governor in a heated argument, is a plot by the opposition to demarket his principal ahead of the November 16 election.

The comedian also stated that Aiyedatiwa has no serious contenders, predicting that the poll will be an easy win for him. According to Seyi Law, the governor should not take legal action against those spreading the video on the internet, as it will be perceived as oppression.

“This is sad, and despite several warnings, you have refused to do the honourable thing. If the Governor takes this up, your family will shout oppression. For your information, the election in Ondo State is no contest. Before 12 noon, una go don see results, run,” Seyi Law tweeted.

As the Ondo State governorship election approaches, it remains to be seen how this controversy will impact the poll. However, with Seyi Law’s prediction of an easy win for Aiyedatiwa, it is clear that the comedian sees no serious competition for the governor.

It is worth noting that Seyi Law was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment & Tourism to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in July 2024, which may raise questions about his objectivity in this matter.

The controversy surrounding the video has sparked intense interest in the Ondo State governorship election, with many eagerly awaiting the outcome. As the clock ticks closer to the November 16 poll, only time will tell if Seyi Law’s prediction will come to fruition.
