House of Villains Season 2 Premieres with a Bang: Reality TV Stars Duke it Out for the Top Prize
Fans of reality TV, get ready for a thrilling ride as the second season of House of Villains premiered on E! on October 9, 2024, at 10 pm ET. The show brings together 10 notorious reality TV villains competing for the coveted title of America’s Ultimate Supervillain and a prize of $200,000. Hosted by comedian Joel McHale, the series promises to deliver on its promise of drama, strategy, and excitement as these villainous contestants use every trick in the book to outlast each other.
The lineup for this season includes familiar faces from mainstream reality TV programs such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Challenge, Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Big Brother. Some of the most well-known personalities participating in the show include Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Richard Hatch from Survivor, and Tiffany "New York" Pollard from Flavour of Love. Other notable cast members include Larissa Lima from 90 Day Fiancé, Wes Bergmann from The Challenge, and Kandy Muse from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The first episode saw tensions rise as alliances were formed, and the villains entered the house. Teresa Giudice made a memorable entrance, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with by forming bonds with other members, including Richard Hatch, with whom she had a history of legal issues. As the group settled in, the first challenge was revealed – a Battle Royale where the contestants had to escape a series of cells while wearing orange prison jumpsuits.
For the challenge, the villains were divided into two teams, with each squad having to kick through walls and figure out puzzles. The Black Team, consisting of Mr. Pectacular, New York, Richard, Camilla, and Victoria, managed to secure the victory. However, a twist was introduced in the form of an "F You Lever" in each cell, which guaranteed immunity for any player who pulled it but added a penalty for their team. Tiffany Pollard pulled the lever, securing her safety but putting her team at a disadvantage. Despite this, the Black Team still emerged victorious.
In a shocking move, Safaree from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta was named the Supervillain of the Week, granting him the power to nominate three players for elimination. He nominated Victoria Larson, Larissa Lima, and Kandy Muse, setting the stage for intense confrontations and alliances to form as the season progresses.
New episodes of House of Villains will air every Wednesday at 10 pm ET on E!, with the second installment of the two-part debut airing on Thursday, October 10.
