Heartland defender, Ebuka Nwokoecha has revealed the key behind the team’s recent impressive performance.
Nwokoecha said a change of mentality was the reason behind the team’s recent success.
He praised the players and coaches for the transformation in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Heartland are unbeaten in their last two matches in the NPFL.
“The credit goes to my teammates and Coaches who have worked very hard and believed in this project and am very optimistic that there’s more to achieve,” Nwokoecha told Heartland’s media.
“What changed is the mentality, now everyone is fighting for the team, everyone wants to die for the team.”
The Naze Millionaires will take on Sunshine Stars in an NPFL matchday 11 fixture on Sunday.
The game will take place at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
