Meet Oshiomhole’s son, Cyril nominated as commissioner in Edo

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo has appointed Dr. Cyril Oshiomhole, Health Commissioner-designate.

Who is Cyril Oshiomole?
Cyril, the son of Senator Oshiomhole, began his education at St. Anne’s Primary School and continued at Command Secondary School.

He later attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).

Cyril furthered his studies at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA, earning a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with a focus on Environmental Health, Toxicology, and Disaster Management.

He, however, continued postgraduate training in Clinical Research at Harvard University in Boston and pursued studies in Gastroenterology at Queen Mary University in London.

The nomination of Oshiomhole is subject to confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly.
