The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL has announced a new date for the matchday 12 fixture involving Akwa United and Nasarawa United.

The match which was originally scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, on Sunday, November 17 has been moved to Saturday, November 16 at the same venue

Other fixtures for the matchday will be played on Sunday.

The new date was confirmed in a statement by the NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi.

The reason for the shift in date was not stated by the league organisers.

The part of the statement reads, “Kindly be informed that matchday 12 games have been rearranged to hold at the venues and date.”
