Social media has destroyed our sense of reality – Denzel Washington

Veteran American actor, Denzel Washington, has shared his opinion on social media.

In a recent podcast interview with Paul Mescal, Washington expressed his sympathy for the current generation, citing the negative impact of social media, which he believes was not present during his time.

He said doesn’t have a social media account, stressing that social media distorts reality.

“I pray for your generation because we did not have to deal with what you’ve to deal with. It’s our fault to put it in your hands.

“They were no nin million opinions every moment of my day, people that liked you then suddenly they hate you. You don’t understand why.

“I never had an Instagram account and LinkedIn,” he said.
