Galatasaray forward, Michy Batshuayi is ready to step in and partner Victor Osimhen in the club’s attack.
Batshuayi has been tipped for a leading role at the Turkish Super Lig champions following injury to captain, Mauro Icardi.
Icardi has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after sustaining an ACL injury before the last international break.
The former Argentina international has paired Osimhen in a two-man attack this season.
Batshuayi has declared his readiness to step up and occupy the role.
“I can play as a single forward or a double forward. Victor is good at aerial balls because he is tall.
“He also makes deep runs, while I am good technically on my side,” Batshuayi declared.
