Championship: Sunderland boss wary of West Brom’s Maja

Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has identified Josh Maja as a potential threat ahead of his side’s meeting with West Bromwich Albion.

Maja has scored on a consistent basis for West Brom this season.

The 25-year-old has netted 10 times in 16 league outings for the Baggies.

The striker is second on the scorers’ chart behind Norwich City’s Borja Sainz (11 goals).

Ahead of tonight’s meeting at the Stadium Of Light, Le Bris declared that it is important for his team to stop Maja.

“He’s (Maja) doing well this season, he’ll probably play well again against us. He’s a good striker, really smart, good finisher, and he’ll be a threat against us,” Le Bris was quoted by BBC.
