Kabiru Dogo remains positive he can help turn things around at Kwara United despite the 0-0 draw against Remo Stars on Wednesday.

Dogo, who was recently appointed head coach of Kwara United took charge of the team in a Nigeria Premier Football League game for the first time against the Sky Blue Stars.

The Harmony Warriors remain rooted to the bottom half of the table after the stalemate with Remo Stars.

Dogo said with renewed strength his team can avoid relegation from the NPFL.

“At this stage, we need to build our self-beliefs. Having a strong mental strength is important,” Dogo told Media Talk Africa.

‘We shouldn’t be reflecting much on our goalless draw against Remo Stars but we should consolidate on the positives from the game.

“This team have what it takes to push up the table.”

Kwara United will travel to El-Kanemi Warriors for their next game on Sunday.
