EPL: Real eye-opener – Chris Sutton predicts Arsenal vs Man United

Former Chelsea star, Chris Sutton, has predicted Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

The former Blackburn Rovers striker predicted a 3-1 triumph for the Gunners over the Red Devils at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

“We have seen some classic games between these teams down the years, but Arsenal are a long way ahead of United, especially now Odegaard is back – he has taken them to the levels we were expecting from them all season,” he said on BBC.

“It would be a real eye-opener if United go to Emirates Stadium and get something, but I can’t see it.”

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are currently occupying the second place in the 2024-25 Premier League standings with 25 points from 13 outings.

Manchester United are ninth with 19 points.

The Gunners have registered seven wins, two draws and two losses in their last 11 games across all competitions against the Red Devils.
