Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has placed Moises Caicedo on the same level with Manchester City’s Rodri and Arsenal’s Declan Rice.
Caicedo joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 from Premier League rivals Brighton.
The Ecuadorian endured an underwhelming first season at Stamford Bridge.
But the 23-year-old midfielder has now looked much-improved so far this season under Maresca.
He has formed a formidable partnership with Romeo Lavia in Chelsea’s midfield and Maresca is pleased with him.
“Moises Caicedo can sit at the table with Rodri and Declan Rice,” Maresca said ahead of Chelsea’s away Premier League tie with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
“He is for sure now at that level. No doubt. Unfortunately, Rodri is injured but Declan is playing. But Moises can be up there”.
