Fierce rivals, Nigeria and Ghana will clash in the final of the inaugural edition of the WAFU U-17 Girls’ Cup on Sunday.

The encounter is slated for the Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Nigeria’s Flamingos earned a berth in the final after edging past Benin Republic 2-0 in their semi-final clash on Thursday night.

Both goals came in the second half through Mary Lucky Mkpa and Janet Akekoromowei.

Bankole Olowookere’s side have scored 14 goals in three games in the competition.

Hosts Ghana walloped Cote d’Ivoire 5-0 in their semi-final clash.
