Ballon d’Or: Vinicius reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo’s comment

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments about the 2024 Ballon d’Or.

Ronaldo had insisted that Vinicius should have won the 2024 Ballon d’Or.

The Portugal captain spoke at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards on Friday evening in Dubai.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner noted that it was unfair that the Brazilian international didn’t win the prestigious individual award.

Vinicius came second behind Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who won the 2024 Ballon d’Or in France a few months ago.

Reacting to Ronaldo’s opinion on the 2024 Ballon d’Or, Vinicius said at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards: “Cristiano Ronaldo’s words about the Ballon d’Or? If Cristiano said I’m the best, then I am!”

Meanwhile, Vinicius won the FIFA Best Player of the Year award.
