Anyanwu resumes as PDP National Secretary amid crisis

Embattled Samuel Anyanwu has officially resumed his role as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He arrived at the party secretariat at approximately 10:56 AM and proceeded directly to his office, where he was welcomed by his personal staff.

While seated at his desk, Anyanwu addressed the media and dismissed a statement attributed to the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba. Ologunagba had informed reporters that the party had acknowledged the Appeal Court judgment that recognized Sunday Okoye as the National Secretary.

In response to this claim, Anyanwu stated, “That is his opinion. It’s not the opinion of the party.” He further remarked, “As National Publicity Secretary of the party, I wouldn’t want to disparage him. Maybe he didn’t get the facts correctly. I have appealed.” Further details will follow.
