Nigeria’s Home Eagles have been placed in Pot C for the draw of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN). The draw ceremony is set to take place later tonight at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya. A total of 19 countries will participate in this biennial competition.
In Pot C, the Home Eagles will be joined by the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Burkina Faso, and the Central African Republic. Meanwhile, the three co-hosts—Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda—are placed in Pot A.
Media Talk Africa reports that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced a postponement of the competition date on Tuesday. The tournament, which was originally scheduled to begin in February, will now take place in August.
