Chelsea recall two players – Media Talk Africa Nigeria

Chelsea on Tuesday recalled two of their players from loan amid the ongoing January transfer window.

In a separate statements, the Blues announced that goalkeeper Ted Curd has been recalled from his loan spell at National League South side Hampton and Richmond.

The 18-year-old shot-stopper made 22 league appearances during his time with the Beavers, keeping nine clean sheets.

The England youngster spent time last season on loan with Hashtag United.

He also appeared twice on the substitutes’ bench for the senior Chelsea side.

Similarly, Chelsea also announced that another goalkeeper, Luke Campbell, has been recalled from his loan at Hendon.

The 19-year-old shot-stopper joined the Isthmian League Premier Division side last August.

He established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.

Campbell made 31 appearances across league and cup during his time at Silver Jubilee Park.

The youngster helped Chelsea’s Under-18s win the Premier League South title last season.
