Serie A: Lookman scoops Atalanta’s December Goal of the Month

Ademola Lookman has won Atalanta’s Goal of the Month for December, Media Talk Africa reports.

Lookman won the award for his brilliant strike in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side 3-2 UEFA Champions League defeat to Real Madrid on December 10.

The winger fired past Thibaut Courtois after turning Lucas Vazquez inside the box.

The 27-year-old won 46% of the votes, with Belgium Charles De Ketelaere coming second with 38% votes.

Tommaso Del Lungo and Andrea Bonanomi came third and fourth respectively.

It’s the first time Lookman will be winning the individual accolade this season.

Media Talk Africa recalls, the Nigerian made his 100th appearance for La Dea in Monday’s 1-1 draw with Juventus.
