NPFL: Bashir leaves Rangers for Sunshine Stars

Usman Bashir has completed his move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Sunshine Stars.

Bashir joined the Owena Waves from reigning NPFL champions, Rangers.

The former Niger Tornadoes forward has fallen behind in the pecking order at Rangers.

Bashir scored once for the Flying Antelopes this season.

The promising forward linked up with coach Bala Abubakar at Sunshine Stars.

Bashir worked with Abubakar during the latter’s reign in charge of Niger Tornadoes.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Bashir was Niger Tornadoes’ top scorer in the NPFL last season.
