Transfer: Ligue 1 club AS Monaco interested in Ndidi

Ligue 1 club AS Monaco are interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi on loan.

According to reliable transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Monaco are also pushing for a buy option to be included in the deal.

β€œAS Monaco consider Wilfried Ndidi one of the main options on their list for the final days, but loan move with buy option clause is not easy at all,” Romano wrote on X

β€œNdidi has a buyout clause but Leicester are not opening doors to loan yet, at this stage.”

Media Talk Africa recalls, the 27-year-old signed a new three-year contract at Leicester City last summer.

The Nigeria international is currently recuperating from an injury.

Ndidi has registered four assists in 15 league appearances for the Foxes this season.
