Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene has completed a move to Canadian club, Ottawa Rapid FC.

Okobi is making a return to active football after taking time off following the birth of her first child.

Details of the contract were not disclosed by Ottawa Rapid.

The 31-year-old last played for Spanish Liga F club, Levante Las Planas.

The club’s technical director Kristina Kiss believes her experience will be vital for the club.

“Ngozi Sonia Okobi-Okeoghene is a dynamic, offensively minded player with a wealth of experience at the highest levels of the game,” Kiss told the club’s official website.

“Her strong 1 vs. 1 attacking abilities make her a constant threat on the ball, and her sharp decision-making ensures she’s always creating dangerous opportunities for her team.”

The attacking midfielder once had stints in the United States of America and Sweden.
