NPFL: Kano Pillars risk another exile from Sani Abacha Stadium

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has threatened to revoke the provisional approval granted Kano Pillars to host matches at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

The NPFL directed the club to ensure that the stadium flood lighting becomes functional henceforth.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the management of the Kano Pillars promised to fix the flood light upon approval to return to the stadium last November.

The NPFL warned that should the flood lighting not be functional for the team’s next home fixture on Matchday 22, Kano Pillars would play home games at any approved venue.

The Sai Masu Gida played their home games at nearby Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, earlier in the campaign.

The four-time NPFL champions will host El-kanemi Warriors at home on Sunday.
