EPL: Ndidi returns to Leicester City training next week

Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed Wilfred Ndidi could return to training next week.

Media Talk Africa recalls, Ndidi, 28, was withdrawn in the 58th minute of Leicester City’s 2-2 home draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on December 28, 2028.

The midfielder has not returned to the pitch since then.

Van Nistelrooy has now provided a positive fitness update on the former KRC Genk player.

“The players that were available against Fulham are available at this moment for Spurs on Sunday. Wilf is making good progress in his rehabilitation. Hopefully he can be a part of team training at some point next week,”the Dutchman told the club’s official website.

Ndidi has registered four assists in 15 league appearances for the Foxes this season.
