Zamfara govt urges youths to serve as agents of peace

The Zamfara State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Tasi’u Musa Shinkafi, has charged youths in the state to serve as agents of peace building in society.

The commissioner gave the charge on Saturday during inauguration of fourth new leadership of Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Zamfara State chapter in Gusau.

Shinkafi urged the newly elected leaders of the Assembly to remain committed to pursuing positive social change and creating a sustainable society.

He further assured that the state government is fully committed to youth development.

Earlier, the Speaker of the fourth Youth Assembly of Nigeria, Zamfara chapter, Ishaq Idris commended the governor for finding lasting solution to challenges faced by youths in the state.
