Nigerian forward terminates contract with Swedish club

Former Flying Eagles striker, Suleiman Abdullahi has left Swedish club, IFK Göteborg.

Abdullahi and IFK Göteborg mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

“Sulle” has struggled despite several lingering injuries. Neither he nor we feel that we got the most out of each other, but we part as very good friends. Sulle is a nice guy who we wish success in his next club,” IFK Göteborg’s sporting director, Hannes Stiller told the club’s official website.

The 28-year-old linked up with Blåvitt from Bundesliga club, Union Berlin in 2022.

During his time at the club, the forward played a total of 30 matches and scored one goal.

He previously played for Norwegian Viking FK and for German club Eintracht Braunschweig.
