Ex-Real Madrid left-back, Marcelo to terminate contract with new club

Former Real Madrid left-back Marcelo’s contract with Olympiacos is all set to be terminated.

This was disclosed by respected transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday.

According to Romano, Marcelo has already made the decision to terminate his contract with Olympiacos.

Romano tweeted: “Marcelo and Olympiacos are now set to terminate the contract after 10 games — statement expected as decision has been made.

“He will now decide the next step after 3 goals scored in 10 appearances into Greek football.”

Marcelo only signed a one-year contract with the Greek club last September.

The Brazilian was part of the Real Madrid team that won the Champions League five times, six league titles and four Club World Cups.
