NPFL: Kano Pillars coach anticipates tough Abia Warriors test

Kano Pillars assistant coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro is anticipating a difficult duel against Abia Warriors.

The Pyramid City club will entertain Abia Warriors in a matchday 23 encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Saturday.

Pillars head into the game in a buoyant mood having defeated El-kanemi Warriors 2-1 in a rescheduled matchday 20 tie on Wednesday.

Abia Warriors have won four of their last five league games, and currently occupy fourth position on the table.

Yaro Yaro admitted Abia Warriors will make things difficult for his team.

“Facing Abia Warriors, considering their rich vein of form and with Imama as coach, is a tough task not just for us but for any team in the league,” Yaro Yaro told the club’s media.

Kano Pillars currently occupy ninth position on the league table with 32 points from 23 matches, while Abia Warriors sit in fourth position with 36 points.
