Bundesliga: Orban scores in Hoffenheim’s win at Werder Bremen

Gift Orban was among the goalscorers as Hoffenheim defeated Werder Bremen 3-1 on Sunday.

Hoffenheim fell behind after 10 minutes when Stanley N’Socki inadvertently slotted the ball into his own net.

The visitors turned the game around before the break with goals from Anton Stach and Tom Bischof.

Orban sealed victory for the Village Club with a superb header just after the hour mark.

The powerful striker was replaced by Erencan Yardimci 14 minutes from time.

The 22-year-old has scored three goals in six league appearances for Christian Ilzer’s side.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the Nigerian joined Hoffenheim from Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon in January.
