U-20 AFCON: Experience will see Flying Eagles through – Bosso

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso believes his sides experience at this level will play a key role in their performance at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The biennial competition will start on Sunday (today) in Egypt.

The Flying Eagles are among the 12 countries that will battle for the ultimate prize and the four slots for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Bosso’s side will start their campaign today against Senegal at the Cairo International Stadium.

They will also face hosts Egypt and Mozambique in Group A.

With seven titles already in the bag, the gaffer insisted they have what it takes to go all the way in Egypt.

“Nigeria has experience in major tournaments and we’re in Egypt to compete and we will give our best,” Bosso was quoted by CAFonline.com.

The Flying Eagles defeated Senegal 1-0 in 2015 the last time both teams met in the competition.
