UCL: Magnificent – PSG manager, Luis Enrique names Liverpool’s best player

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has named goalkeeper, Alisson Becker as Liverpool’s best player.

Enrique said the Brazilian was ‘magnificent’ against PSG during both sides’ UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie on Wednesday.

Becker was named the man of the match after making nine saves during the encounter.

PSG goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma made no save, conceding Liverpool’s only shot on target via Harvey Elliott with three minutes to end the match in Paris.

Speaking at his post-match interview, Enrique said PSG deserved more against the Premier League leaders.

“We deserved more,” said Enrique.

“Their best player was their goalkeeper – he was magnificent today.

“Today wasn’t a game based on the stats or the details.”

The result ended PSG’s 22-game unbeaten run and 10-game winning streak in all competitions.
