NPFL: Why Tornadoes lost to Rivers United – Coach Mohammed

Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed has blamed loss of concentration for his team’s defeat to Rivers United.

Samson Obi scored the winning goal for the hosts seven minutes from time.

Mohammed expressed his displeasure with the manner at which his team conceded the goal.

“I think we lost it with a moment of concentration, we thought that we have gotten it all of a sudden I don’t know what got into the head of the players,” Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.

“This is not the type of goal we should be conceding considering where we are coming from but that is football for you.”

Niger Tornadoes dropped to 11th position on the league table following the defeat.
