‘Porn sites’ ban will affect many Nigerians’ – Comedian IGoSave

Stand-up comedian IGoSave has strongly condemned the House of Representatives’ directive to the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, the telecoms regulator, to block access to all pornographic websites nationwide.

The comedian expressed concern that the ban would affect a lot of citizens.

He requested the opinion of Nigerians to stage protests over the ban, noting that those who would suffer from the ban are also Nigerians.

On his Instagram story, IGoSave wrote, “This porn site ban go affect many Nigerians o!

“Should we help dem protest? Cos they are true Nigerians too.”

Rapper Blaqbonez also reacted to the ban, suggesting that it was a sign of misplaced priorities.

He argued that adult films “help” citizens through difficult times.
