2026 WCQ: Super Eagles begin preparation for Rwanda clash

The Super Eagles had their first training session ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tie against Rwanda in Kigali on Tuesday afternoon.

Twenty-two players took part in the session supervised by head coach Eric Chelle.

It was also the team’s first training under Chelle since his appointment in January.

The Super Eagles opened camp for the clash with the Amavubi on Monday.

The three-time African champions will have two more training sessions before the encounter with Adel Amrouche’s side.

Friday’s matchday five encounter will hold at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

The game will kick-off at 5:00 pm Nigeria time.
