2026 WCQ: African highest goalscorers ahead of Match Day 5 fixtures [Top 11]

Egypt superstar, Mohamed Salah, is the top goalscorer in the 2026 World Cup qualifying series in Africa.

Salah has scored five goals, as his country top Group A with 10 points after four fixtures.

The Pharoahs are four points clear of second-placed Guinea-Bissau and five ahead of Burkina Faso.

Salah is joint top scorer alongside Mahmoud Trezeguet, who also has five goals to his name.

Ghana forward, Jordan Ayew, is in second place with four goals.

The Black Stars are in second place in Group I with 9 points, only behind Comoros on goal difference.

Ayoub El Kaabi (Morocco), Denis Bouanga (Gabon), Kamory Doumbia (Mali), Louis Mafouta (Central African Republic), Myziane Maolida (Comoros), Patson Daka (Zambia), Seko Fofana (Ivory Coast) and Sudi Abdallah (Burundi) are all on three goals.
