Yobe’s new Commissioner of Police Ado assumes duty

The Yobe State Police Command has announced that the newly deployed Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Ado Christopher, assumed duty on Thursday.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Damaturu.

According to the statement, the new CP, who hails from Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State, is the 33rd Commissioner of Police in Yobe State since the command’s establishment in 1991.

“CP Ado is committed to serving the people of Yobe State and ensuring their safety and security.

“His expertise in community policing, law enforcement, tactics, investigation, and strategic leadership will be invaluable assets in achieving this goal,” the statement added.

The command, through the statement, urged the public to cooperate with the new Commissioner of Police as he works to enhance the security and well-being of the state.
