NPFL: Kano Pillars lift suspension on Usman Abdallah

Kano Pillars have lifted the suspension on their technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, Media Talk Africa reports.

Abdallah was suspended by the Sai Masu Gida in February due to poor results and gesture towards the fans after the club’s matchday 22 goalless draw against Bayelsa United at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The gaffer’s assistant Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro took charge of the team during his suspension.

The suspension was further extended at the start of March.

“All issues have now been resolved. Technical Adviser Usman Abdallah has returned after the misunderstanding with the fans and will lead the team for the remainder of the season.
Welcome back, Gaffer!” The four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions wrote on X.

Kano sit in eighth position on the NPFL table with 44 points from 31 games.
