APC Crisis: Benue APC reaffirms support for Agada’s leadership

Members of the executive committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ungwar Sarki Ward in Kaduna State have denied rumours that they are set to decamp to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Media Talk Africa recalls that rumours were rife that the EXCO members will immediately decamp to SDP following Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s defection to the party.

But the Ungwar Sarki Ward EXCO have debunked the rumour, saying they were completely abandoned and ignored despite their loyalty and support to the party during El-Rufai’s government

Speaking during a visit to former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, the ward chairman, Aliyu Ibrahim lamented, “The EXCO members were neglected for eight years during the days of El-Rufai as governor.

“It was really that bad that not even a dime was given to support us, loyal to the party.”

Responding, Sani warned them against being deceived to dump APC for SDP.

He appealed to the ward executives to remain in the party and work for Governor Uba Sani during the 2027 general elections.
