Adeleke, PDP govs not picking your calls again – APC chieftain mocks Atiku, El-Rufai

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ayekooto Akindele, has said no Nigerian governor including Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, will support former Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in 2027.

Mocking Atiku, Akindele said Adeleke no longer picks the former Vice President’s calls at daytime.

Posting on X, the APC chieftain insisted that Atiku and former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai can’t stop Tinubu’s second term.

He was reacting to reports that PDP governors struck a deal with Tinubu.

It was reported that Tinubu’s deal with some PDP governors was responsible for the crisis rocking the opposition party.

It will be recalled that Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, recently declared that Tinubu will remain in power till 2031.

The PDP governor said Tinubu has the backing of Nigerians and will win reelection.

Eno made the remark after the PDP Governors Forum vowed never to back Atiku’s coalition.

Akindele wrote: “There’s no Nigerian Governor who has declared that he will support Atiku in 2027! Even Adeleke no dey pick Atiku’s calls at daytime again.

“I want to see Atiku’s face when Fintiri eventually joins the APC.

“One million Atikus and El-Rufais cannot stop the South and Tinubu from spending EIGHT YEARS in power.

“When it comes to politics, don’t drag anything with the JAGABAN. No matter how plenty the chicks are, they’ll always follow the Chicken from behind.”
