Davido and Asa will be performing at the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Sports Festival, NSF.
The singers will be performing by 5:00 pm today, Sunday May 18, at the NSF opening ceremony in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Bukola Olopade, the Director General of the National Sports Commission, made the announcement on Sunday afternoon on X.
Olopade wrote; “This is our own Olympics and the festival must portray that global feel in both competition and organisation.
“The National Sports Commission and Ogun State Government have put up a world class event to mark the opening ceremony later today by 5:00 pm.
“Two of Nigeria’s top Music icons, Davido and Asa will be performing at the MKO Sports Arena.”
Media Talk Africa reports that the 22nd festival tagged ‘Gateway Games’ will officially be declared open by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
