2023 governorship candidate of Action Alliance in Kaduna, Timothy Adamu decamps to APC

The gubernatorial candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, in the 2023 general elections in Kaduna State, Mr Timothy Sherman Adamu, has defected to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

According to him, “I hereby write to tender my resignation as a member of the Action Alliance (AA) with effect from May 6, 2025, and also to inform you of my decision to defect to the progressive family of the APC.

“My decision to quit the Action Alliance party is borne by the APC government of President Bola Tinubu and governor Uba Sani’s practical inclusiveness in governance and the transformation witnessed in my dear state and zone in terms of infrastructure, improved security and human capital development.”

According to him, Governor Uba Sani has really kept his promises made when he led four other gubernatorial candidates of other political parties to congratulate him on his victory at the polls in 2023, saying that he has no other reason seating on the fence and not joining the great party, APC in order to also lend his support to building a better and prosperous Kaduna State and Nigeria.

Adamu said, “I want to sincerely appreciate the management and staff of Action Alliance for their support and prayers all through my journey under Action Alliance with great opportunity granted me to stand as the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the 2023 general elections.”
