Borno: Nigerian troops neutralize scores of terrorists in Bita

In a significant boost to the North East region’s security, the Nigerian Air Force has dealt a major blow to Boko Haram terrorists. Through the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, the NAF has successfully carried out precision airstrikes against fleeing terrorists in Bita, Borno State. According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Nigerian Air Force, the highly coordinated operation was executed under the cover of darkness. “NAF combat aircraft carried out precision airstrikes on fleeing terrorists in Bita, Borno State, and neutralised scores of insurgents,” he stated. This operation represents a major leap in ongoing efforts to dismantle the operational capabilities of terrorist elements that have been undermining national security in the region.
