Iran Vows to Escalate Attacks on Israel and Target Its Nuclear Infrastructure

Israeli nuclear sites to face ‘crushing blows’ – Iranian source to RT — RT World News

Iran has vowed to intensify its military response against Israel, with a senior security official warning that the country’s nuclear infrastructure could be targeted. In an exclusive statement, the official, who chose to remain anonymous, revealed that Iranian armed forces will maintain missile and drone operations throughout the day, specifically targeting “the occupied territories and Israeli garrisons.” This response, the official emphasized, follows “the Quranic advice on retaliation” and aims to counter Israeli aggression.

The Iranian official stressed that the country’s response will be proportionate to the attacks it suffers, warning that Iranian forces will respond “to any extent and wherever the regime attacks Iranian soil.” However, the official also noted that, based on “Iran’s moral principles,” hospitals will not be targeted. This clarification comes amidst reports of the Soroka hospital being struck in the city of Be’er Sheva in southern Israel, which the official described as “completely false.”

The escalation of tensions between Iran and Israel has been ongoing since last week, when Israeli forces launched strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, including sites in Natanz, Isfahan, Fordow, and near Tehran. The attacks have resulted in the reported killing of between nine and 14 nuclear researchers. In retaliation, Iran has unleashed waves of drone and missile strikes on Israel, prompting a strong response from the Israeli military.

The Iranian official also issued a warning to any country considering entering the conflict on Israel’s side, stating that “if another country directly enters into war with us, it will provide much more accessible targets for the Iranian armed forces to destroy.” This warning comes as US President Donald Trump has publicly supported Israel’s actions, describing them as “excellent” and urging Tehran to surrender unconditionally. President Trump has also cautioned that the US could become directly involved in the conflict if any American targets are hit by Iran.

Despite the escalating tensions, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, has refuted Israel’s claims that Iran is nearing the completion of a nuclear bomb. Grossi stated that the watchdog has found no evidence that Iran has been making a “systematic effort” to produce a nuclear weapon, highlighting the need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the international community will respond to the growing tensions between Iran and Israel.
