Meet Brooke Ashley Hall: The Social Media Sensation Who’s Redefining Content Creation
With a staggering 1.3 million followers on Instagram, 14.9 million followers on TikTok, and 232,000 subscribers on YouTube, Brooke Ashley Hall is a force to be reckoned with in the world of social media. But despite her massive online presence, Hall doesn’t rely on a large production team to create her content. Instead, she gets help from her husband, Marco Hall, and her son, who jokingly refers to himself as part of her "ideation team."
At the recent VidCon 2025, Hall sat down with us to discuss the secrets behind her success. When asked about the most important item she brings to her work, Hall’s response was surprising: "the personality." For her, it’s not just about the equipment or the editing software, but about the unique perspective and charisma she brings to her content. Hall edits her videos on Final Cut Pro and uses Photoshop to edit her photos, but when it comes to hardware, she relies on just three essential items.
The Power of Simplicity: Hall’s Go-To Equipment
Hall’s husband, Marco, revealed that she shoots almost everything on her iPhone and a DJI drone. "Depending on the content, I use my iPhone, believe it or not. And a drone," Hall explained. She also uses a Sony ZV-1 camera for vlogging, but not for more aesthetic videos. In fact, Hall shot a video of herself walking down stairs in a robe using just her iPhone, and it garnered an impressive 19.6 million views.
Another key item in Hall’s toolkit is the "Alix Earle light," a simple clip-on camera light that’s become an Amazon bestseller since being recommended by TikTok creator Alix Earle in 2022. Hall is a fan of the light, keeping one in her pocket at all times. "It’s great that [Alix Earle] made it so popular," she said.
As social media continues to evolve, creators like Brooke Ashley Hall are redefining the way we think about content creation. With her emphasis on personality, simplicity, and creative storytelling, Hall is inspiring a new generation of online creators to think outside the box and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Whether you’re a seasoned creator or just starting out, Hall’s approach is a reminder that success in social media is not just about the equipment or the software, but about the unique perspective and voice you bring to your audience.
