Nigeria’s election results: Bola Tinubu heading to victory – Ahmad declares

A former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad is confident that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is heading to victory in the ongoing presidential election.

The 2023 presidential election has been a tight battle between the candidates of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

The presidential election has not ended in some places where the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, extended the exercise for varying reasons.

Although results have been declared by presiding officers at the polling units, INEC will begin collation of results at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, on Sunday.

Until then, unverified results will continue to make the rounds on social media.

“From the results we have gathered so far, we are comfortable in Sokoto, Lagos, Zamfara, Borno, Yobe, Ekiti, and Ogun.

“More results from additional states are being sorted. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is very much heading to victory. #NigeriaDecides,” Ahmad wrote on Twitter.
