Nigeria Decides: Obi wins first LG in Enugu

The Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi has won the election held on Saturday in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State.

He was declared winner at the collation centre in the LG after polling a total of 14,143 votes.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, came second with 4010 votes, while Bola Tinubu of the APC got 970 votes

The LP also won the Senatorial and House of Representatives elections in the Local Government

For the Senate, the scores are: APC – 1344, LP – 14254, PDP – 3615.

House of Representatives: APC – 970, LP- 14143, PDP- 4010.
