LP, PDP accuse INEC of compromising election results

Three political parties have accused the Independent National Electoral Commission of compromising Saturday’s presidential election over failure to upload on its result portal.

Media Talk Africa reports that the allegations were made at a joint press live conference by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Labour Party and Action Democratic Party.

According to the Chairman of LP, Julius Abure the INEC chairman, Yakubu Mahmood has manipulated the election.

He called for the resignation of Mahmood.

“The results announced by INEC showed a monumental disparity between the monitored by our party agents and Nigerians across polling units.

“Refusal of INEC to comply with the process of the election has compromised the credibility of the election.

“We, therefore, state that INEC compromise the election before the collation began”, he said.
